ROTTEN SOUND: New Song Posted Online

Finland's ROTTEN SOUND has posted a new song, entitled "The Effects", on the group's MySpace page. The track comes off the band's new full-length album, "Cycles", due on January 9, 2008 via Spinefarm Records. The CD was recorded and mixed with Janne Saksa at Kantola and Sound Supreme studios. Mastering was handled by Pelle Henricsson at Tonteknik Studios.

ROTTEN SOUND was formed on 1993 and has released more than a dozen recordings so far, including four full-length albums, one DVD and numerous smaller releases. Their last full-ength effort, "Exit" (Spinefarm Records) CD/LP, received many rave reviews around the world and made it to Finnish charts for three weeks after it was released. An eight-song mini-CD, "Consume to Contaminate", was issued last year.

ROTTEN SOUND has a great deal of touring experience, including numerous tours in Europe, two U.S. tours and many festivals on both continents.
